Insurance sector

The insurance sector in Mali is gradually developing, with a diversified offer meeting the needs of individuals and businesses. Insurance companies offer a wide range of products, from life insurance to property and liability insurance, as well as specific insurance such as car insurance and health insurance. 
The revenue in 2023 is 75,1 Milliards de FCFA. Considering the growth prospects and the low penetration rate, the objective is to reach the symbolic threshold of 100 Milliards de FCFA In 2030. Payments made in 2023 are:

• 20,7 Milliards de FCFA Funds paid to beneficiaries
• 15 Milliards de FCFA Of taxes and duties paid to the STATE.

The insurance sector mobilized directly in 2023 Nearly a thousand people.  This number can easily rise to Over 1500 people If we include the personnel employed by the intermediaries.
